Born in the heart of Puglia, Siopé is much more than a brand: it is an agricultural, cultural and educational project that places at its core respect for nature’s silence and timing, care for natural resources, and the recovery and appreciation of what is often labelled as “waste”.
A project born from four complementary visions
The idea began with the meeting of four individuals – Valentina, Mauro, Sabrina and Alessio – who combined their diverse expertise in biology, entrepreneurship, IT and hospitality around a shared dream: to create an ethical and sustainable production model, capable of generating value through a short supply chain, traceability, and respect for biodiversity.
Organic essential oils and natural products from the Mediterranean maquis
The core activity of Siopé is the production of organic essential oils, aromatic waters, and extra virgin olive oil from native Mediterranean plants grown on once-abandoned, now regenerated land. The team uses sustainable, minimally invasive farming methods to ensure the purity and quality of its products, enhancing even those raw materials that would elsewhere be discarded.
Every step – from harvesting to distillation to packaging – is designed to respect natural cycles and minimize environmental impact. Siopé operates through an artisanal, ethical and local agricultural supply chain, based on circular economy principles and promoting a culture of gratitude towards the land.
An educational farm to cultivate awareness
Alongside production, the team is also developing an Educational Farm, a space for learning and sharing where adults, children and travelers can reconnect with nature, discovering the values of sustainable herbalism, healthy nutrition, and regenerative agriculture.
The aim is to educate about slowness, seasonality, and the true value of natural time. Personal wellbeing and environmental wellbeing are deeply interconnected, and awareness is the key to building a better and more sustainable future for all.
