Since its beginnings, humankind has always sought a dialogue with nature, because from this humankind has known its own progress and improvement, both physical and spiritual.
Nature has always been an inexhaustible source of inspiration and provides new and beautiful margins of re-signification.
Our project starts from here, from the dialogue between humankind and nature.
We believe in silence and time.
Silence is already expressed in our brand name, Siopé, which from ancient Greek means “silence”.
Silence is an essential condition for listening to one’s own spirituality as well as to nature, to grasp all the nuances and all the inspirations that it can grant us.
Another essential concept for us is time.
Time is what always escapes us in life, too focused on a thousand things to do and on various tasks towards the future, we always lose sight of the present moment, the only one we really have and that we can live to the fullest.
For this reason, regaining possession of time with respect to oneself and with respect to nature, corresponds to rediscovering a more human and sustainable dimension to live in harmony with all the beings that populate our planet.
About us
Siopé was founded in Puglia through the union of four individuals with diverse backgrounds, brought together by a profound love for nature, for the authentic rhythms of the land, and by a shared vision: to restore value to the territory by honouring its silence and natural pace, cultivating a mindful and respectful approach to the environment.
We are Valentina, Mauro, Sabrina and Alessio, , and at Siopé we bring—each day—our combined expertise in fields ranging from biology to entrepreneurship, IT to hospitality, shaping a project that merges agriculture, culture, and environmental education.
We produce essential oils, aromatic waters and olive oil from native Mediterranean plants, reclaiming neglected land and enhancing what would elsewhere be considered waste. Every stage of our process—from cultivation to packaging—follows ethical, sustainable and transparent principles.
But Siopé is also a place of encounter and inspiration: through our future educational farm (Masseria didattica), we aim to promote a lifestyle in harmony with the environment.
We speak to those who seek quality and authenticity, both private individuals and commercial partners—such as independent shops, pharmacies and herbalists—inviting them to discover and distribute our products, and to help us share with the world the quiet beauty, richness, and scents of nature and of Puglia.
